About our Word Search Puzzles
If you are looking for downloadable printable word searches for kids, you have come to the right place. No need to look any further! Our fun themed printable word searches are teacher approved and kid tested. Based on our own experiences in the classroom and based on what we hear from other teachers, kids love them.
All of our word searches are created by a certified elementary teacher that is still in the classroom. The vocabulary for the puzzles is carefully selected to fit content standards. They are created using themed clip art and doodle-style borders, which makes them appealing to kids.
Our word searches print on standard 8.5 x 11 paper. The word search themes are on topics related to social studies, science, math, language arts, holidays, and more. If you need a word search on vertebrates for science, we have one. If you need a birthday word search puzzle, we have that too. We have over 190 puzzles to choose from. Whenever we get a new idea, we create a new puzzle.
These educational word search puzzles were created with third, fourth, and fifth graders in mind, but after viewing the word lists, you may decide they are suitable for other grade levels. It is recommended that teachers and parents view the word lists and decide if you think they will work for your students.
